For such questions the classics gave us something remarkable: the moment the question is asked becomes the horoscope.
In my practice, I have found that reading a birth horoscope is complex. Dasas, vargas, yogas and transits pull in different directions, and all of it rests on a birth time that is often uncertain. Prasna is different. It deals with one moment and one question, and the moment is known to the second. That is why, in my experience, prasna gives clear and precise answers to most questions, often where the birth chart could not. But it is also the most misunderstood branch of Jyotisha. Many cast a chart for the moment and read it like a birth chart, and that is exactly where it goes wrong. Prasna has its own grammar, its own pillars and its own order of judgment.
Over the past years we have already walked through three prasna systems together: Jamakol prasna, Kashyapa Hora prasna and Degree prasna. This is the fourth, and the most complete. Parashari prasna is the root from which the other systems branch. Over five days we go to that root and teach it in full detail, layer by layer. We build on the fifty-six verses of Shatpanchasika, the classic grammar of prasna, and deepen them with the Kerala tradition of Prasna Marga. We begin with the foundations of the moment chart. These are the Shatpanchasika rules, nimitta, udaya and arudha, chatra, the Moon, panchanga, hora and the sphutas, along with the Kerala parampara.
Then we take prasna into life itself:
Family questions of vivaha, marriage matching and santana.
Career and wealth through vidya, udyoga, dhana, vanijya, rina and griha-bhumi prasna.
Disputes and journeys through vivada and yatra prasna.
Health and life through roga and mrityu prasna, handled with the care they demand.
The hidden matters that only prasna can open: nashta, abhichara, shapa, dosha, nimitta and deiva prasna.
Krishi and utpata prasna for questions of nature.
We close with kala nirnaya, muhurtha, parihara and mishraka prasna. With these you can say not only what will happen, but when it will happen and what can be done about it.
